Finding Quiet Strength incorporates the practical principles of Tai Chi, Yoga and the Alexander Technique and is for everyone. The work is experiential and practical and presented with a total commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity.
The Alexander elements of the work are based on the framework of ideas that are known as the Alexander principles. FM Alexander (1869-1955) published four books that describe his Principles; his early books also make some references to human potential that are unacceptable to the 21st century Alexander teaching community. Finding Quiet Strength stands apart from of any kind of prejudice, both contemporary and historical and stands with the idea of finding peace and the understanding of equality, being our strength.
